Hebert Crest        The French armorial guides have several crests attributed to the name HEBERT.

       Here is a color version of one of the earliest crests. The description is as follows: Azure, two gold palm branches accompanied by two stars of the same, one in chief and one in base.
      The HEBERT name has had at least 11 crests in the past. The following images are from Rietstap's Planches de L'Armorial General. A short descriptive from the Armorial (in French) is given. The Acadian HEBERTs probably came from south of Loudon, in the Poitou area. The closest area might be Normandy, which is to the north.
