GENEALOGY & HISTORY Sites

	I know a bit on the history & genealogy on the Acadians and Cajuns beyond what I have on this WebSite. I also have a variety of printed resources. If I can provide clarification on anything, I'd be glad to help. But I can't do major research for you. Also, I don't have the genealogy of all Acadians and Cajuns. I may be able to help you with some basic genealogy, but detailed analysis of a particular problem will be beyond my time limitations.
	Most of my HEBERT information is from Acadia (pre-Exile) and the Louisiana HEBERTs. I have some information on HEBERTs during the Exile. For HEBERTs who settled in other areas of the world, I probably won't be able to help much.  You can also contact the Hebert Association of the World.  They keep a computer database and can be helpful.
	If you have a basic question about Terrebonne Parish's history or its early settlers, I may be able to help. If it's about someone in the 20th century, I probably can't help.  But the best thing to do is to add a query to the Terrebonne Parish forum or send a query to the guestbook at the Terrebonne Parish or TGS site.
	I take care of the TGS site, and am a member. But if you have a message for the society, please consult the officers page at the site for their e-mail links.  If you have a query, use the forum or guestbook.  Members will periodically check them and will help if they can.

Since I get quite a bit of mail, please be patient. If it's a simple request, I'll probably respond quickly. I can't do major research for you, but I'll help out if I can. If it's important, please feel free to keep writing me until I respond. I'd appreciate the reminder.
